Great Smokies Sliding

More rain, less fun, just mud, and beautiful muddy mountains, that I slide from on my bum. I am glad I saw Smokies on their best: smoke itself, rain, mud. And blossom!

Shelters were full, also all hikers suddenly started snoring, so I decided to set my tent away from others. Someone approached my tent at 1 AM and asked very softly where was a shelter. I think a few hard words in Russian, pointing him right direction though, kept him away and, probably, saved my life.

The next morning a sheriff came to us, looking for a criminal who supposes to hide there. The sheriff himself looked suspicious, hm… Too much briolin was on his hair when he took off his hat, too well-done nails, too smart goggles, too soft voice, too serious eyes, no smiling. Looked like he visited a barber and a spa salon before going to his work in the woods. A maniac dressed as a sheriff. Was it his voice at night? Nor sure LOL or not LOL.
