I flew from South Africa to hike the #AppalachianTrail<\/a>. What I knew about it? That as a trail runner I was able to do these 2000 miles anyway. I supposed to walk with a project of US militaries, so no need to care about supplying\/resupplying. They would show me the way to hm\u2026 Katarin? Karazin? Ah, does it matter?<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The distance from Atlanta to Cape Canaveral looked like nothing in comparison with Johannesburg to New York, so on my way to Springer Mountain I rent a car and drove to Florida, to see NASA and Kennedy Space Centre, my childhood dream.<\/p>\n

It supposed to be also a rocket launch at 4:AM. I parked my car at a hidden gate, but a policeman found me. Once heard the reason why I was there, he escorted me to the special campground for NASA stuff and asked the guard to let me in. The rocket didn’t start as I was told when I got up in the morning and asked in case I overslept anything. If it would be possible to oversleep a rocket launch.<\/p>\n

I\u2019ve got a message from the project organizer that they fight with one American writer and would stay away from media, who was I as well, for awhile. So I must go by myself. Hah?<\/p>\n
