Coordinated and oversaw the development and execution of a vocal music curriculum at a theater with a stage company that produced four or five musicals annually. Sang with the company in both major and minor roles.

Met weekly with students of all ages, genders, and stylistic preferences to inculcate healthy vocal technique while developing musical literacy and interpretive imagination.

Taught High School students vocal technique in an afternoon and evening program started by the faculty at Newtown High School.

I've had such a great time during my lessons with Paul. He is genuinely in love with singing and his passion is contagious.His knowledge and interesting personal experiences add up to the atmosphere and learning process of every session. Paul really makes an effort to understand the needs of the every student. He is very sensitive and responsive teacher. With him it is not only about plain theory and practice. For me lessons with Paul were about both physical, emotional, psychological responses I had to singing - it was about breaking my own barriers, taking control or letting go and owning what I could do with my body, my voice.
My grandmother was an opera singer but I never could sing. It turmed that I just didn't knew how to use my hight voice. Thanks Paul for his crash course, I immediatelly started to sing in the choir!
Both my daughter and I studied with Paul Whiton for many years and were both inspired and uplifted by his teaching methods and coaching in vocal technique. My daughter grew tremendously as a singer and her personal confidence grew so much studying with him. He is very perceptive and really meets the student where they are, tailoring his vocal selections to the interests and needs of each student. I remember my own vocal sessions as a teen/young person with such fondness and was so happy my daughter got the chance to study with him. I would highly recommend Paul Whiton for vocal students of all ages.
